- Summer League
Format to change to 4 singles games of 401, 2 pairs of 501 and 1 triple of 701. All games are 3 legs. Only needs 4 players.
This is a trial for one year and will be revisited at the next AGM.
Games to start at 8:30 but can be played earlier if both captains agree.
There will be a pairs tournament on finals night
No rearranged games in Summer, cancelling team lose 7-0.
Summer League will start on the 8th May and fixtures will be provided on or before 3rd May.
- George Cup/Plate Rules Rules
Format same as Winter League 5 singles 401 and 2 pairs 501
Draws will be made at committee meetings the week following the previous round
1st round draw to take place 2 weeks before 1st round matches
Committee meetings will be added to the fixture list for the winter league when this is published and will take place on alternative sides of the river to allow people to attend to watch draws if they want to.
Draws will be published on Facebook and on the website, a separate tab will be set up.
Finals of the Cup/Plate will take place at GWRSA Exeter unless a Railway Team is in the final. Then the committee will decide on a venue.
- League Rule Changes
There will be a cut off point for new signings. This will be the date that the 1st game of the second half of the season takes place and will be confirmed once fixtures are issued.
If teams are struggling for players and want to sign someone on after the cut-off point, they must contact the committee in writing.
Starting Winter 2025 League Fees to increase to £30.
Results cards are to be added to the Facebook group, the home team are responsible for this.
The Thursday darts WhatsApp group will be deleted. The captains one will remain for rearranging fixtures etc.
Surnames no longer need to be on the card when drawn. Surnames must be included when noting 180s and highest checkouts and if they are not on the card they will not be counted.
George Cup/Plate 180’s and high checkouts will also be included in the total count.
Any 180s or highest checkouts hit in finals night competitions will not be included.
A Ladies singles comp will be played on Winter League Finals night. Name to be decided
Laminated scorecards will be provided to each venue before the start of each season.
